As is vividly indicated above, in front of a computer sits a student browsing the course selection system. The student is wondering whether to choose a course that is easy to achieve high grades, pass the final exams and with less homework or a one that lays more emphasis on innovation, is demanding and with new knowledge. Simple as it is, the profound and thought-provoking implication behind it deserves our grave attention and further analysis.
What the picture above portrays can be analyzed form the following aspects. First and foremost, the students should make a decision after considering their own interests. In addition , the college students ought to choose the courses suitable to improve their future career development, rather than choose the meaningless courses just in order to lessen the academic burdens. Last but not least, they should choose the courses while taking into account their personal schedule, that is to say, if their time permits, they can choose the challenging courses, which will definitely benefit the college students’ growth. If not, they can choose some courses that won’t severely disturb their routine.
Based on the analysis I have made, then we can draw a safe conclusion that it all depends whether the college students choose the easy or difficult courses. In other words, the choice should be beneficial to the overall development of the college students.
